Windows Then - Steve Ballmer, 1986
Since the early days of YouTube, a so-called "commercial" of Windows 1.x from 1986 was passed around all over, where Steve Ballmer parodies other overly energetic salesmen in commercials from the 1980's. It was actually an internal Microsoft video, but as the years went by it would come to be one of the things that defined Steve Ballmer's crazy portrayal of himself. Thanks to the archival efforts of Blue Horizon, this video is finally available in much higher quality (and 60 FPS in the MP4 file, no less). It was taken off of a VHS tape covering the Windows 95 launch. The complete tape is available on the Internet Archive. P.S. Please refrain from saying "RTX" a lot. Thank you. |
